People ask me all the time why I became a real estate agent when I should be retiring. My answer is simple, I love people! I love getting to know them, their families, their needs and I love making lifelong friends! I also love real estate! I’ve been around it all my life. When I was young, my dad and both of my grandfather’s made their living building and renovating houses. When we got married 37 years ago, my husband Steven and I built the home he designed and still live in today. For over 10 years Steven and I developed subdivisions and built homes in Forsyth County, then I went back into the corporate world, retired, and went back to what I know best; building houses and developing land. Now, as an added bonus, I’m a real estate agent! In short, I have bought homes, sold homes, built homes, and developed the land that the homes sit on, and as such, I have an agent’s perspective that few get.
